Update!

Whoa, wait, I have a website? Dang, I forgot about this! I'm sure I kept all two of you waiting eagerly in your seats, hoping for a brief look into the stylin' lifestyle of Dorsey Sprouls. Well, to that, I say thanks for your support, Mom.

So now that I'm back, you might have noticed a couple changes in the website. I've added a new headshot, courtesy of Jesse Reitz, an old coworker of mine here in the UP. I've also added a couple photos from three shows that I've done since I last posted: The Producers, Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?, and Scrooge!, a wonderful little one-act production of Charles Dickens' classic, A Christmas Carol. Be sure to check them out!

But that's not all! I just finished up my senior capstone project here at Northern Michigan University. I directed, designed, and starred in a 30-minute piece entitled The Myths and Bricks Project, where I talk, yell, tell stories to, and ultimately lose my mind over a little red brick. Production photos will be sure to come once I get them back.

But still, more! You may have noticed while browsing the site, that I have a whole new page dedicated to my writing! I took a playwrighting class, and I've decided to post some of my favorite plays that I've written for you to read. I'll be trying to submit them and other plays that I write as well, so keep an eye out for that.

Well, that's about all I've got right now. I'll actually be posting with relative frequency now that I'm winding down on my college career and about to dive into m̶y̶ ̶c̶a̶r̶d̶b̶o̶a̶r̶d̶ ̶b̶o̶x̶ my new life in the theatre! I leave you with a picture of a dog that is far too good for this world, courtesy of one of my favorite twitter accounts.

This is probably how I'll end most of my blog posts. You're welcome, America.
